Tropical Adventures – Island Safari Sting Ray Fantasy Tour

This action packed tour begins as you hop into one of our custom-fitted Land Rover jeeps. These jeeps are equipped to handle dirt paths the rugged terrain of Antigua.

Your friendly driver will point out to you – historical sites and places of interest along the way. Including, Betty’s Hope. A well-preserved sugar plantation. Be sure to bring your camera! This tour is full of wonderful sites to photograph.

As we journey through the countryside, you can see local villages and catch a glimpse of the ‘real Antigua‘. Banana trees and hibiscus flowers line the roadside. Antigua is one of the most beautiful islands of the Caribbean. When you spend the day with us… you are sure to see an abundance of natural wildlife.

Of course, there may be a joke or two as well. Our guides are good at entertaining everyone throughout the day. If your driver spots a fresh mango tree. He may just stop and pick one to taste. Many local Antiguans also have small fruit huts on the roadside. Depending on the season, you may find papaya, melon, pineapple and raw sugar cane.

Lunch is included on this tour. We will also serve you cool refreshments such as; fruit punch, soft drinks, water or rum punch.

When we get to the north side area of Antigua. We are taken for a short boat ride on calm protected waters through the scenic islands of the “North Sound“. You’ll get a chance to see the beautiful, turquoise Caribbean waters. In this area there are many small, uninhabited islands which make the scenery quite picturesque.

In a few minutes, we arrive at “Stingray City“. Here you can pet and feed friendly, Southern Stingrays, right in the water. Snorkel on the pristine coral reef and see brilliant coloured fish.

After everyone has had a chance to swim or snorkel, we head back to the mainland on the boat once again. And finally, into the jeeps for a relaxing ride back to your hotel.
