Triflexcursion offers eco activity tours combining biking, kayaking and hiking into unique tours.
Or enjoy the full Triflexcursion 3 hour guided tour by reservation only, with groups of 10 people maximum.
We use certified and reliable brand name bikes and kayaks for your comfort and safety. Raleigh Redux Assault bikes and Pelican Sentinel kayaks.
Things to bring… camera for all the amazing pictures you will take; comfortable beach attire suitable for cycling and kayaking. Tour can be done in slippers but trainers/sneakers are recommended. Remember your shades and beach towel and you are ready to TriFlex.
1. FORT JAMES TOUR
A 3 hour biking, hiking and kayaking tour. This unique adventure begins at our office in Redcliffe Quay, St. John’s, where we ride to the kayak spot through the back streets of the city making stops to give info on our history, culture, historical sites and landmarks. After kayaking we make short ride to Fort James Beach where we take a break for an hour then proceed to walk through the ruined Fort James with beautiful views and where original canons from our colonial days are still guarding St. John’s Harbour. After that its a nice breezy ride back to the city.
2. FORT BARRINGTON TOUR
A 3 hour bike and Hike tour. This tour starts at our office in Redcliffe Quay and then we ride on the other side of the St. John’s Harbour through the village to Deep Bay in Five islands. It is a little longer ride than to Fort James with few hills so we call this our intermediate tour. We make an hour beachstop where you can take a swim in the crystal Caribbean Sea, then hike up 300ft to Fort Barrington. After soaking up the amazing views the Fort has to offer we return by bike to the city.
